Fire Station No. 9 |
Today was a very exciting day! At 10:10 am we lined up and headed out to the Irving Fire Station No. 9! As we walked the children talked about things they saw in the neighborhood and their excitement was felt when they saw the FIRE STATION sign just feet from the station! The children saw all the things we've been learning about ... the fire house with living room, tv, kitchen, sleeping area, closets, fire jacket, pants, boots, helmet, walkie talkie, axes, air tanks, thermal imaging scanner, brush truck, ambulance, engine, truck, ladders, hose, flashing lights! It was a lot of fun! ENJOY the pictures!!! Thank you to Yacoub's dad and Umar's mom who joined us today!
We made it ... the children patiently waiting to go inside!
They did such a wonderful job walking!!
STOP, DROP, and ROLL
Great JOB!!!
The kids loved seeing the sleeping quarters
They thought it was funny that he had a TRANSFORMER blanket!
